Silicone Flexible-Arm USB Clamp Reading Lamp

Why this one

The long arm here: 15.8 in of silicone that holds whatever shape you bend it into, on a clamp that takes a 2.3 in edge, with a metal base and a 24 month warranty. Three colour temperatures - 3000K, 4500K and 6000K - and ten brightness levels inside each. It is USB powered, not battery, so it needs a socket, a laptop or a power bank within reach. The listing text never says where the controls are; the product photo shows a four-button box wired into the cord, which answers it.

What it had to clear

• 15.8 in bendable silicone arm with 360 degrees at the clamp
• clamps to edges up to 2.3 in and weighs 10.9 oz
• corded USB - a 5V/2A adapter is included, or run it off a laptop or power bank
