7 Under-Bed Storage Picks for Low-Clearance Bed Frames
Most under-bed bins assume 7 inches. A rented flat rarely gives you seven.
The under-bed is the largest unused volume in a small bedroom, and the standard advice sells you a 30-litre rolling box that is 17 centimetres tall. Your bed clears the floor by 9.
Clearance is the whole problem, and most listings never mention it. So we sorted these by real height and separated the ones that need 6 inches from the ones that slide under 3.5. If your frame is a cheap rented flat divan with a dust rail, you may have less than you measured.
Two of these are not storage at all - risers and vacuum bags - and both are here on purpose. One buys you the centimetres you are missing and the other makes the clothes you cannot fit fit anyway.
